Job Description:

• Design, review and coordinate fire alarm and detection systems, including addressable fire alarm panels, detectors, MCPs, sounders and interfaces.
• Design/coordinate emergency power supplies, fire pumps, fire alarm power, emergency lighting and related electrical systems.
• Coordinate fire protection systems with M&E, ACMV, architectural, structural and plumbing services.
• Prepare electrical schematics, layouts, equipment schedules, calculations, technical specifications and shop drawings.
• Ensure designs and installations comply with SCDF/FSSD requirements, Singapore Fire Code, relevant Singapore Standards and NFPA standards where applicable.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, contractors, Qualified Persons (QPs), Registered Inspectors (RIs) and authorities.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, testing and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot fire alarm/electrical system faults and provide technical solutions.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions and as-built drawings.
• Prepare testing/commissioning reports, inspection documentation and O&M manuals.
• Support project tenders, quotations, variation orders and technical submissions.
• Manage project schedules, subcontractors and site coordination for larger projects.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering / Construction or equivalent
• M & E Experience preferred
• At least 2 years of working experience with Fire Alarm Industry
• Experience in the Construction industry
• Experience in Electrical Works, Fire Alarm System Installation and Maintenance
• Knowledge of fire alarm system components, such as control panels, detectors, notification devices, and initiating devices
• Physically fit
• Excellent Communication, Leadership, Interpersonal and Problem-solving
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, work under pressure and manage deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
• To communicate complex technical ideas and non-technical audiences
