Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To manage and coordinate the Company's import, export, customs, logistics and shipment activities, ensuring all goods are processed efficiently, delivered on time and in compliance with applicable customs, regulatory and Company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Import & Export Operations

  • Manage daily import and export operations from shipment planning to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with overseas suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs agents.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, ETA/ETD and ensure timely delivery.
  • Follow up on shipment delays, discrepancies and operational issues.

Customs & Regulatory Compliance

  • Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian customs requirements.
  • Verify HS Codes, customs declarations, duties, taxes and other applicable charges.
  • Coordinate import/export permits and regulatory documentation where required.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and appointed customs agents on clearance matters.

Shipping & Documentation

  • Prepare, verify and maintain shipping documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin, COA and other relevant documents.
  • Ensure all documents are accurate, complete and submitted within the required timeline.
  • Maintain proper records of all import/export and shipment documentation.

Logistics Coordination

  • Arrange shipment bookings with freight forwarders and shipping lines.

F&B / Product Compliance

  • Support the import/export requirements for food and beverage products.
  • Coordinate relevant permits, certifications and regulatory requirements where applicable.
  • Keep updated on relevant customs, food import/export and regulatory requirements.

Cost & Reporting

  • Monitor freight, customs duty, taxes and other logistics-related charges.
  • Assist in landed cost calculation and verification of logistics invoices.
  • Maintain shipment records and prepare regular import/export and logistics reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and control costs.

Others

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and SOPs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior or Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration or related field.
  • Coordinate transportation and delivery arrangements with warehouse and logistics partners.
  • Monitor shipment status until goods are successfully received at the designated location.
  • Ensure proper coordination between suppliers, warehouse, finance and internal departments.
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
