RPM Engineers Hiring! Full Time Chief Resident Engineer in Selangor - Ricebowl

The Chief Resident Engineer will lead and oversee the construction supervision team to ensure all construction works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project requirements. The role involves monitoring project progress, managing technical and authority-related matters, and coordinating closely with clients, contractors, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 25 years of experience in construction supervision
• Certified Professional Engineer (PE) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
• Familiar with large infrastructure projects in particular earthworks
• Strong problem solving and technical report writing skills
• Able to liaise effectively with client, contractor, local authorities and relevant parties

Qualifications

• Advise, direct and monitor the day-to-day duties of construction supervision team
• To ensure the construction activities be carried out in accordance to construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITP and to issue instruction for remedying faults
• Supervise and oversee the construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Monitor the construction work progress based on approved work program and implementation schedule
• Manage and coordinate documentation for authority submissions and approval
• Attend all meetings with client, contractor, local authorities and relevant parties as required
