Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven junior Project Manager to successful delivery of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar projects. You will be responsible for assiting and managing projects from handover through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end execution of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar projects from handover to successful commissioning.
• Track and control project schedules, site deliverables, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure safe and on-time project completion.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with internal engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to maintain smooth daily workflow.
• Serve as a primary operational contact for clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities (TNB / local councils).
• Identify potential site delays or risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies under the guidance of senior leadership.
• Assist in managing project scope variations, change orders, and contractual documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations, site safety regulations, quality standards, and company SOPs.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and prepare progress, budget, and resource tracking reports for stakeholders and management.
• Support testing, commissioning, grid interconnection, and final project handover procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience managing Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar projects.
• Proven track record in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar project delivery, end to end.
• Familiarity with Malaysian local authority approval processes, TNB/utility interconnection requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and other project management tools.
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple concurrent projects, work with autonomy, and travel to project sites as required.
