About the Job
This is an HR role where you will focus on employee relations, disciplinary management, and foreign worker administration within a large manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring workforce compliance, supporting employee engagement, and maintaining HR processes that align with statutory requirements and organisational standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for local hiring across all levels, from operators to managerial positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely fulfilment of hiring needs
- Maintain recruitment records, applicant tracking, and recruitment reports to support effective hiring decisions
- Coordinate campus recruitment initiatives, career fairs, and employer branding activities to strengthen talent pipelines
- Assist with Industrial Relations (IR) matters, including preparing disciplinary documentation, show cause letters, warning letters, and supporting employee disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies
- Conduct new employee orientation and support onboarding activities
- Support foreign worker administration, including liaising with external agencies on permit renewals and related documentation when required
- Conduct monthly hostel inspections and support hostel administration
- Support selected learning and development initiatives, including leadership development programmes and employee training activities
- Gain progressive exposure to payroll administration, including overtime verification, shift pattern understanding, and payroll processes
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, CSR initiatives, and internal events
- Maintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
- Support HR projects and other ad hoc HR and administrative duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment for local hiring
- Exposure to expatriate Employment Pass applications and foreign worker administration will be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Industrial Relations (IR), the Malaysian Employment Act, and HR best practices will be an advantage
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
