We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager, Projects to join the Projects Department. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing property development projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timeline while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Job Scope
- Lead, plan and manage property development and construction projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate and monitor project progress, ensuring milestones, budgets and timelines are achieved
- Manage and liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities, suppliers and other key stakeholders
- Review project designs, specifications and construction methodologies to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimise delays and cost overruns
- Monitor project costs, variations and overall financial performance to ensure effective budget control
- Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to ensure quality, safety and operational standards are maintained
- Prepare project reports, presentations and updates for management and relevant stakeholders
- Support strategic planning and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes
- Undertake ad-hoc project-related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Civil & Structural) or a related discipline
- More than five (5) years of relevant working experience in project management, preferably within the property development industry
- Proven leadership experience in managing projects, project teams and multiple stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, contract administration and regulatory requirements
- Experience in coordinating consultants, contractors and government authorities throughout the project lifecycle
- Excellent project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
