About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Executive to join our freight forwarding and customs clearance team.

If you have experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, import/export documentation and are familiar with SQL, GSOFT and HMS, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and provide professional shipment updates.
• Coordinate import and export shipments from booking through delivery.
• Liaise with customers, shipping lines, hauliers, warehouse and customs-related parties.
• Coordinate customs clearance and ensure all required documents are complete.
• Follow up on customs declarations, approvals, permits and shipment releases.
• Monitor vessel schedules, container movements and delivery status.
• Prepare and check forwarding and customs documentation.
• Update shipment and customer information accurately in SQL, GSOFT and HMS systems.
• Coordinate closely with the Operations and Customs Declaration teams.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare quotations and assist customers with logistics-related enquiries.
• Maintain proper shipment records and documentation.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

MANDATORY:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics or customs clearance.
• Must have hands-on experience with SQL system.
• Must have hands-on experience with GSOFT system.
• Must have hands-on experience with HMS system.
• Good knowledge of import/export and customs clearance procedures.
• Good understanding of logistics documentation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple shipments.
• Responsible, proactive and detail-oriented.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in both freight forwarding and customs clearance, together with practical knowledge of SQL + GSOFT + HMS, will be given priority.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
