Overall Purpose of the Job

• Assist Field Engineer & procurement dept on project materials and related project TEC ( Tools / Equipment / Consumables).
• Coordinate and make arrangement for daily activity related to project materials (i.e. receiving, issuing, inspection, handover to fabrication etc).
• Communicate and interface with Client’s Yard Team on project materials upon receiving, checking & inspection.
• Furnish project materials report (i.e. MRIR & MMIL).

Principle Duties

• Responsible to inspect & check project materials upon receiving to ensure tally with PO & DO complete with its supporting documents.
• To communicate with Client Yard Team prior to request for inspection.
• To prepare MRIR for review and approval by Client.
• Make arrangement for DTSSB QC Team & Client QC for quality (physical) , dimensional and technical specification requirement checking.
• Upon inspection, to notify FE & Procurement should there be any descrepencies or rejected materials by Client.
• To secure and storage project materials accordingly.
• To update MMIL (Masterlist Material Inventory Log) whenever materials received OR issued for fabrication team OR send to offshore.
• Responsible to pack all project materials either completed fabrication or loose materials and also to prepare the packing list prior to mobilise to offshore.
• Responsible to organizes and maintain hard copy and sofcopy documentation.
• To assist Client Yard Team for monthly project materials inventory audit.

Knowledge/Experience Required for the Job

• Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry with minimum 3 years experience in onshore/offshore construction project ( fabrication / maintenance).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in dealing with vendors / subcontractors for maintenance or construction project materials.

Academic/Professional Qualification

• Certificate or Diploma in relevant Logistic / Supply chain Management / Engineering OR equivalent.
• Computer softwares literate.
