Financial Accountant (m,f,d) - Python/ Singapore tax compliance - Singapore/Hybrid

Project: To join a leading international client, we are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 12 month contract. You will support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end activities, combining strong financial accounting expertise with technical skills to improve and automate finance processes using Python.

Key Responsibilities:

•Manage daily accounting transactions across sales, purchasing, cash flow, accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

•Maintain customer and supplier accounts and perform regular account and bank reconciliations.

•Support month-end and year-end closing, including journal postings and preparation of account schedules.

•Assist with the accurate and timely processing of payments.

•Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits.

•Support statutory tax activities, including GST, Withholding Tax (WHT) and Corporate Tax.

•Use Python to automate data-related tasks, work with financial datasets and improve accounting processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

•Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

•At least 15 years of hands-on accounting experience.

•Strong practical knowledge of financial accounting, including AP, AR, reconciliations and closing activities.

•Experience with Singapore tax and statutory requirements, including GST, WHT and Corporate Tax.

•Practical Python programming skills, ideally within finance, accounting or data automation

•Advanced MS Excel skills and strong general MS Office knowledge.

•High attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills.

•Fluent English (written and spoken)
