Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and self-motivated Account Executive to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Company's accounting functions, preparing financial reports, supporting audit activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling a full set of accounts independently and possess a good understanding of Malaysian accounting practices and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and supporting schedules.
• Process payments, receipts, journal entries, and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit.
• Liaise with tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and relevant government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including LHDN e-Invoice, SST (where applicable), EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB requirements.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting.

· Able to handle a full set of accounts independently.

· Experience in preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.

• Good understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory compliance.
• Familiar with LHDN e-Invoice, SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, Million or equivalent.
• Experience in project accounting, including project costing, progress billing, cost monitoring, and project profitability analysis, will be an added advantage.
• Experience in engineering, construction, technology, or other project-based industries will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
