Ekosys Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to join our Engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Jurong West, West Region. As Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction activities on site, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. This position is fundamental to maintaining the quality and timeline of our projects whilst fostering a culture of safety and excellence on the construction site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and document progress, identifying any deviations from design and taking corrective actions
• Monitor and manage the quality of materials, workmanship, and structural integrity throughout the construction process
• Liaise between the project management team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and as-built documentation
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure all personnel comply with health and safety regulations and site protocols
• Manage site resources including equipment, materials, and labour to optimise productivity and minimise waste
• Assist in resolving on-site technical issues and implement solutions in consultation with senior engineers
• Conduct surveys and measurements to verify that constructed elements meet design specifications
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to the project management team

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or similar on-site construction role
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural construction practices, materials, and methodologies
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and construction site management
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and site management software is advantageous
