MCE Holdings Berhad Hiring! Full Time SMT Maintenance Engineer in Selangor - Ricebowl

About the Position:

Responsible for maintaining and optimizing SMT equipment to ensure high equipment reliability, productivity, and quality. The role involves troubleshooting machine breakdowns, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, machine setup and model changeovers, and implementing corrective actions. The position also works closely with Production, Engineering, QA, and Planning teams to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain SMT equipment to achieve optimum equipment performance, productivity, quality, and maintenance KPIs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and restore breakdown machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Set up and perform model changeovers, including program checks and backup pin settings.
• Set up and maintain printing and mounting machines.
• Analyze equipment issues and implement corrective actions to improve machine efficiency.
• Conduct equipment inspection, repair, calibration, and component replacement as required.
• Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting on equipment.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, and QA teams to optimize plant utilization.
• Prepare daily equipment status and maintenance reports.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Preferred skills:

• Knowledge of SMT and PCBA Manufacturing
• Familiarity with equipment setup, maintenance, model switching and troubleshoot.
• Hands on experience with SMT machines

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics/ diploma / adequate experience on relevant fields.
• Possess experience as Maintenance Engineer / Sr. Tech for SMT (Surface mount technology)
