Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and identify issues or inconsistencies in requirements, design specifications, application architecture, and product documentation.
  • Develop comprehensive test specifications based on business and technical requirements within project timelines.
  • Set up and validate test environments and test beds according to project requirements.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders throughout the test planning, execution, and defect resolution phases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using standard defect management tools until closure.
  • Prepare and provide accurate and timely updates on testing progress, test results, and defect status.
  • Apply established software testing processes, methodologies, and standards throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with software quality management practices, policies, and standards.
  • Participate in test planning, test execution, defect management, and overall quality assurance activities.

Technical Skills & Requirements

Automation Testing

  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium using Java.
  • Experience with Cucumber Framework for BDD-based automation testing.
  • Good knowledge of Maven and IntelliJ IDEA.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards/Test Plans.
  • Good SQL skills for database querying, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of API testing using Postman.
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred/required to support communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience in the financial services or banking industry will be an added advantage.

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
