ParagonCorp Hiring! Full Time Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Engineer in Selangor - Ricebowl

We are looking for an AMR/Robotics Engineer to develop, deploy, and continuously improve Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems in real-world operational environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design and improve robot navigation, localization, mapping, path planning, and obstacle avoidance systems.
• Develop and tune robotics software using C++ / Python and ROS/ROS2.
• Integrate and optimize sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, IMU, and wheel odometry.
• Troubleshoot and improve robot performance through logs, sensor data, simulation, and field testing.
• Support AMR deployment, calibration, commissioning, and continuous optimization in live environments.
• Work on multi-robot coordination, fleet management, and safe robot operation.
• Build reusable tools, documentation, and engineering practices to improve future robot deployments.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, operations, vendors, and other engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM fields.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, autonomous systems, AMR, mobile robotics, or related fields.
• Strong experience with C++ / Python and ROS/ROS2.
• Practical knowledge of SLAM, localization, navigation/path planning, sensor integration, and obstacle avoidance.
• Experience working with LiDAR, cameras, IMU, or wheel odometry.
• Experience deploying, testing, tuning, or debugging robots in real-world environments is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across hardware and software.
