Feather and Bone Holdings Ltd is a Premium Grocer & Restaurant concept . We are located in Central / Happy Valley / Clearwater Bay / Sai Ying Pun / Mid-Levels / Wan Chai/ Tsuen Wan / Yuen Long/ Sai Kung & Causeway Bay Hong Kong.
Launched by the founders of the popular “Three Butchers” online deli, Feather and bone brings top quality meats sourced directly from Australian farmers to the heart of Hong Kong. In-store and through the online store customers can get premium cuts of meat hand-cut daily by our butchers. Our market-fresh produce is selected daily by our dedicated staff in addition to our selection of seasonal products imported from Australia, Europe and the US.
Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and dynamic Retail Shop Assistant & Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced, open-concept restaurant located inside a vibrant commercial building. In this role, you will play a crucial part in daily operations by assisting at the cashier counter, managing a dedicated food-related retail corner, and supporting overall floor activities to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Cashier & Front-of-House Support
Process customer payments (cash, credit cards, digital wallets) accurately using the POS system.
Greet guests warmly, take dine-in and takeout orders, and provide basic menu recommendations.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor service issues promptly and professionally.
Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and stocked dining and counter areas.
Food Retail Corner Management
Oversee the display, stocking, and inventory of food-related retail products (e.g., artisanal snacks, packaged ingredients and other food & drinks products).
Ensure retail displays are visually appealing, clean, organized, and properly price-tagged.
Monitor stock levels, track expiration dates, and assist with inventory counts and reordering.
Engage with guests to explain retail products and drive add-on sales.
Help open and close the retail and cashier counters according to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in food service, retail, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
Basic POS operating skills and strong communication abilities.
Energetic, detail-oriented, adaptable in a fast paced working environment.
Willingness to work flexible schedule and necessary tasks as required.
