Position: IT Executive

Based: Teluk Gong, Klang

Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely on-site IT support for hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PC, laptop, printer, application and basic network issues.
• Assist with the setup, configuration and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
• Support LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and other network-related operations.
• Monitor IT systems and escalate complex issues to HQ IT team or vendors when required.
• Assist in IT asset management, including equipment inventory, issuance, returns and disposal.
• Install and maintain authorized software, antivirus and security updates.
• Assist with data backup, system recovery and IT security activities.
• Coordinate with HQ IT team and external vendors to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Support IT projects, system upgrades, deployment and other project-related IT activities.
• Maintain basic IT documentation, user guides and records.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT operations, user experience and efficiency.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned to support smooth project operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Open to Fresh Graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Basic knowledge of PC hardware, Windows, networking, printers and common IT applications.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with both site and HQ teams.
• Proactive, responsible and hands-on with a positive attitude towards learning.
• Flexible and willing to assist with different tasks beyond routine IT support when required.
• Willing to work outside normal working days/hours when required by project operations.
• Willing to travel to HQ in Klang when required.
• Able to work independently at the project site and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be willing to be based at Teluk Gong, Klang.
