Responsibilities

The Royal Garden Kowloon East is situated above the MTR Tseung Kwan O Station, offering convenient access to the bustling attractions in the city.

The hotel features 366 contemporary guest rooms and suites, which are being opened in phases along with other facilities. It offers comprehensive amenities, including a 25-metre outdoor pool, a 24-hour gym, and more. Boasting a distinctive outdoor garden and modern banquet venues, the hotel is an ideal venue for hosting a variety of events, such as MICE and weddings. In addition, a wide array of family-friendly and pet-friendly features provide guests with a versatile and enriched accommodation experience.

Continuing The Royal Garden’s tradition of high-quality dining, the hotel features a rooftop Italian restaurant, Ponentino, which outdoor terrace offers expansive views of Tseung Kwan O, providing a relaxing setting for diners. The lobby’s Fine Foods Lounge serves light refreshments and pastries, including The Royal Garden’s signature butterfly cookies.

At the moment, we are looking for an Events Coordinator to join our professional team at The Royal Garden Kowloon East .

Job Responsibilities:
Support the Events Executive/Manager in planning and conducting pre-event meetings with clients and catering staff to determine potential enhancements to the guest experiences.

Support the Events Executive/Manager in the daily meeting with each meeting planner to debrief on daily events, review consumption, bill and any exceptions to contracted billing and review estimates of final billing.

Assigned upon situation, be the point-of-contact to give immediate assistance in order that customer’s needs are met quickly and their event runs smoothly.

Job Requirements :
Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualifications with 1 years working experience in meeting planning, Relevant experience in the service/hotel industry would be an advantage

Strong organisational skills required to maintain electronic, paper filing and update sales systems

Strong communication skills and negotiation skills

Effectively verbal and written skills as well as producing reports

Excellent PC skills (including MS Office, Opera)
