Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
- Lead and manage skilled tradespeople, laborers, and subcontractors on site.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor work progress to meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality workmanship and identify any issues.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve construction-related issues.
- Monitor the use of materials, tools, and equipment to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, work records, and site documentation.
- Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or accidents.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to improve performance and maintain high work standards.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Assist in planning manpower requirements and scheduling construction activities.
- Resolve on-site conflicts and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Support project completion by ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
