Job Description
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Pillar Manager / Associate Consultant to take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of professional and corporate learning programmes.
The role sits at the intersection of programme management, learning, client engagement and business development. You will bring together clients, faculty, L&D, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure your portfolio delivers for learners, clients and SHRI.
The Role & Deliverables
You will own a programme pillar from planning and development through to delivery, review and growth.
Your work will include:
Your core deliverable is a strong, well-managed portfolio that delivers for learners, clients and SHRI.
You set priorities and maintain standards across the pillar. You are responsive to the different people who depend on you, whether that means reporting clearly to management, understanding client needs, guiding faculty and internal teams, or ensuring learners are properly supported.
Ultimately, you are accountable for bringing the different pieces together and ensuring that content, learner experience and delivery remain consistently strong across the portfolio.
The Opportunity
This role gives you broad exposure across programme management, learning and consulting. You will work directly with organisations to understand their people and capability needs, shape appropriate solutions and see them through to delivery.
Our environment is dynamic. Client requirements evolve, new opportunities emerge and several programmes and stakeholders may need attention at the same time. You should be comfortable with change while bringing the structure, judgement and follow-through needed to keep your portfolio moving.
As you develop, there is scope to own a larger portfolio, lead more complex client engagements and playa greater role in solution design, partnerships and business development.
The role can grow towards Portfolio Lead, Consultant or broader business leadership responsibilities, depending on your strengths and interests.
Who We Are Looking For
You are a clear communicator and confident relationship manager who can work comfortably with management, clients, faculty, internal teams and learners.
You understand that different stakeholders need different things from you. Management needs clarity. Clients need responsiveness. Faculty and contributors need direction and support. Learners need a strong learning experience.
You are comfortable taking the lead: setting expectations, making decisions, following through and addressing issues when standards are not being met. You also know when to get into the detail and when to empower others to do their jobs.
Most importantly, you take ownership of the outcome, even when parts of the work are delivered by others.
What Do You Bring to the Table?
Experience in adult learning, HR, organisational development or corporate learning would be useful, but we are open to different backgrounds.
More important is whether you can communicate clearly, bring people together, maintain high standards and take ownership from problem through to outcome.
Interested?
If you enjoy working with people, managing different stakeholders and taking ownership of a portfolio rather than one small part of the work, we would like to hear from you.
Send us your CV and tell us about a portfolio, programme or client project that you took ownership of and helped move forward.
