Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mechanical (force, resistance, life cycle, etc.), thermal, and RF testing on test socket, contact media, jig & fixture.
  • Operate and interpret data from advanced analytical instruments e.g., FDR, MPT, Cycling & RF Machine.
  • Set-up or design test fixtures for customized test procedures. Analytical procedures & data, review test standards and specifications and prepare test reports.
  • Collaborate with vendors and other departments to resolve engineering issues or testing requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Oversee and upkeep of test reports, test records, test facilities and laboratory equipment. Assist in validating and verifying new testing methods and equipment.
  • Develop and implement testing protocols in accordance with ISO, and industry standards. Ensure laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance for reliable and accurate test results.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations summarizing test results, trends, and material performance insights. Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Ad-hoc duties, perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Min ITE/ Diploma in any Engineering Disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Precision Engineering, etc.)
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Semiconductor. Experience in laboratory testing & semiconductor is advantageous. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Basic MS Office proficiency, SolidWorks & RF knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical interpretation, and laboratory software.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
  • Result and service-oriented individuals who possess initiative and good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task. ability to work independently in challenging projects, problem-solving skills and timelines.
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, and responsible with a “can-do” attitude.
