COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Join a team building user-friendly solutions across web applications, mobile applications, ML, AI, computer vision, data, and platform engineering. This role will focus primarily on front-end web development and UI/UX, including the development and enhancement of React-based internal applications, with opportunities to broaden into other areas based on project needs.

Responsibilities:

Software Development and UI/UX Design: Work with refinery engineers, analysts, and operators to understand operational workflows and domain requirements, then design, develop, iterate, and deploy intuitive web applications that integrate naturally into refinery workflows.

Code Quality and Engineering Support: Work with colleagues from both computing and domain backgrounds to review, refactor, and improve Python and JavaScript codebases from internal projects, enhancing maintainability, readability, and scalability.

Cybersecurity & Compliance: Work closely with IS (Information Systems) and CSS (Control Systems) to ensure all solutions comply with cybersecurity requirements and information risk management standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related field. Fresh graduates and early-career candidates are welcome.

OTHER INFORMATION

Foundation in JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, web development, Python, and basic software engineering principles.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn refinery operations and apply technology to industrial workflows.
