Job Summary:
The IT / Digital Indirect Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement of IT-related goods and services, as well as indirect procurement categories such as office supplies, professional services, facilities, and other non-IT purchases. The role involves vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement process optimization to support the organization’s operational and strategic needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- IT & Indirect Procurement Management: Source, evaluate, and procure IT hardware, software, and services, as well as indirect procurement items such as office supplies, marketing services, HR services, and facility management.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with IT and indirect procurement vendors, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Contract & Price Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favourable terms for the company across IT and indirect procurement categories.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Work closely with finance and relevant teams to manage procurement budgets and control costs.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations across all procurement categories.
- Process Optimization: Improve procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices in IT and indirect procurement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, finance, HR, marketing, facilities, and other departments to understand business needs and provide procurement solutions.
- Market Analysis: Keep updated on procurement trends, emerging technologies, and cost-effective solutions to provide strategic recommendations.
- Purchase Order & Documentation: Manage purchase orders, vendor agreements, and procurement documentation accurately across IT and indirect procurement categories.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, Digital, Finance, or related field
- At least 2-5 years of experience in IT and/or indirect procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong exposure to software licensing, SaaS, cloud, and digital platforms is a plus.
- Experience with ERP / e-procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) is a plus.
- Willing to be based at Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur (accessible by LRT)
