Position Overview
The Assistant Finance Manager will manage daily accounting activities and prepare the full set of accounts. The role also supports month-end closing, financial reporting, tax compliance, audits and the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash book and Fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly, year-end closing and consolidation adjustment entries.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and monitor cash flow and outstanding balances.
- Prepare information for corporate tax, E-invoice, entertainment tax, audit and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities when required.
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
- Review financial results and explain significant variances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems.
- Support and guide junior finance staff where applicable.
- Work with other departments to resolve finance-related matters.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
- Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
