Assistant Manager, SOX Financial Controls - IT | 6-Month Contract | Tun Razak Exchange, Kuala Lumpur

Based in Tun Razak Exchange, Kuala Lumpur, you'll join the financial controls function of a leading international financial services organisation - owning an IT controls portfolio and driving end-to-end SOX delivery across Asia.

The Role

Here's what you'll be accountable for:

• Owning delivery, quality, and milestone tracking for an allocated portfolio of IT controls
• Planning and coordinating IT scoping, risk assessment, and testing across ITGC, ITAC, IPE, and SOC1 reliance
• Supervising and coaching junior testers, with first-level review of TOD/TOE testing
• Maintaining IT control documentation, risk and control matrices, and GRC platform records
• Identifying IT control deficiencies, driving remediation to closure, and managing relationships across Finance, IT, and external audit

What We're Looking For

Here's the profile we have in mind:

• 3+ years in ITGC, IT audit, or SOX IT controls, ideally from a Big 4 or equivalent background
• Strong knowledge of ITGC domains, ITACs, IPE, and SOC1 reliance within a financial reporting environment
• Experience supervising junior team members and managing delivery against milestones
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems; CISA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or CIA preferred
• Exposure to Oracle ERP, IAM, CyberArk, or Splunk is an advantage
