• Job Summary We are seeking an analytical, highly technical, and results-oriented Data Center Manager to join our infrastructure and technical operations practice. In this critical leadership role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for configuring, monitoring, auditing, and optimizing our data center ecosystem, critical server rows, and associated building utilities. Operating from our Eunos facility, you will direct preventive mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance frameworks, monitor power usage effectiveness (PUE), and lead incident management paths to achieve a strict zero-downtime objective. The ideal candidate will combine systematic system engineering logic with advanced hardware troubleshooting capabilities to prevent data delivery latencies, manage perimeter security risks, and safeguard mission-critical digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Total Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day scheduling, configuration logs, operational performance metrics, and technical up-keep of the data center floor and server environments.
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Design and execute rigorous preventive maintenance programs for critical power assets, backup generator circuits, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and high-capacity HVAC/cooling layouts.
• Capacity Planning & Analytics: Track, extract, and analyze critical resource datasets—including electrical footprints, network bandwidth metrics, and server temperature parameters—to build scaling models and eliminate architecture bottlenecks.
• Incident Lifecycle Management: Provide rapid, decisive tier 3 technical troubleshooting to isolate and resolve system failures, power anomalies, or equipment faults under strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Vendor & SLA Optimization: Source, evaluate, and manage third-party engineering contractors, telecommunication vendors, and specialized hardware suppliers, auditing performance logs strictly against compliance frameworks.
• Security & Risk Mitigation: Implement and enforce strict physical and digital perimeter access control lists (ACLs), surveillance tracking, and disaster recovery routines to guard data cages from unauthorized breaches.
• Data Governance Compliance: Enforce rigid compliance with corporate information security standards, workplace safety frameworks, energy efficiency benchmarks (such as Singapore Green Mark criteria), and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a highly quantitative STEM discipline.
• Technical Stack: Strong command of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, network routing/switching matrices, and building management software. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for resource logging and analytics reports is required.
• Certifications: Professional credentials such as Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS), CDCP, or relevant mechanical/electrical (M&E) facilities safety certifications are highly valued.
• Experience: Prior experience (3–5 years) in a data center manager, infrastructure systems engineer, or senior facilities operations lead role—specifically within a mission-critical web hosting facility, server hub, or cloud technology provider—is required.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional telephone etiquette and an assertive, collaborative stakeholder management style.
• Core Competencies: Outstanding structural logic, sharp troubleshooting capabilities under tight downtime parameters, extreme attention to detail, and a resilient team-player mindset.

Pay: $5,900.00 - $7,800.00 per month
