Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an ambitious, self-directed Business Development Manager to lead the commercial development of Saltidin (Icaridin) and broader Saltigo portfolio solutions across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand (ANZ).

In this role, you will act as the commercial representative for Saltidin, executing regional growth strategies, winning new business, and optimizing customer and distributor networks. Concurrently, you will explore new market opportunities for Saltigo’s products and custom manufacturing services across chemical-consuming industries to support long-term regional diversification.

Key Accountabilities:

• Commercial Strategy & Business Growth: Develop and execute regional growth strategies for Saltidin in close alignment with global business management, marketing, regulatory affairs, and technical support teams.
• Pipeline Development & Conversion: Identify, qualify, and convert new customer leads and high-impact commercial projects across SE Asia and ANZ.
• Account & Partner Management: Build long-term relationships with key direct accounts and manage distributor performance to maximize market penetration.
• Portfolio Expansion: Evaluate market trends to identify new business opportunities for Saltigo products and custom manufacturing services across target specialty chemical sectors.
• Market Intelligence: Gather competitive intelligence, monitor regulatory trends, and conduct ongoing market analyses to inform strategic business planning.
• Pipeline & Revenue Tracking: Maintain CRM data integrity, accurate sales forecasting, and regular management reporting.
• Industry Representation: Represent Saltigo and Saltidin at relevant regional trade shows, technical conferences, and industry events.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5+ years of B2B sales, business development, or marketing experience in specialty chemicals, personal care, agrochemicals, or related industries.
• Track Record: Demonstrated success in new business acquisition and market expansion within the APAC region.
• Commercial Acumen: Experience managing international distributors, regional networks, and multinational accounts.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities, high intercultural competence, and comfortable working self-directed.
• Analytical Capability: Expertise in market sizing, competitive intelligence, and CRM pipeline management.
