The Scheduler supports the Planning team in executing the day-to-day production schedule across Assembly & Test processes. This role works closely with Planners and Production Control (PC) to keep lots moving on schedule — assisting with MES transactions, expediting priority lots, tracking HOT LOTs, and coordinating lot combination at Tape and Reel. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive to shifting priorities, and comfortable working hands-on with production data and shop-floor coordination in a fast-paced OSAT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain the production schedule for Assembly & Test processes, ensuring lots are sequenced to meet committed priorities.
- Assist Planners in processing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) transactions to keep lot status, routing, and WIP data accurate and up to date.
- Prepare expedite lot lists for manufacturing based on Planner requests, and communicate priority changes clearly to the shop floor.
- Follow up on HOT LOTs throughout the production flow, tracking status and escalating delays to keep them moving on schedule.
- Provide general support on tasks related to Production Control (PC) and the Planning team as needed.
- Direct and coordinate the combination of lots at Tape and Reel, ensuring lots are grouped and processed correctly per customer/order requirements.
Key Requirement and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or production control, preferably within an OSAT or semiconductor back-end environment.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor assembly and test process flow, including DPP, Reconstitution/Recon, and End-of-Line operations.
- Hands-on experience with MES and ERP systems for lot tracking and transaction processing.
- Strong Excel skills for data tracking and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priority changes (hot lots, expedites) under time pressure.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with Planners, PC, and shop-floor/production teams.
- Comfortable in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with shifting priorities.
