Responsibilities
Purpose of the Role
- To oversee and manage the company’s facilities, maintenance and building operations to ensure a safe, efficient and well-maintained working environment.
- Manage daily facility operations, maintenance and building services.
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Oversee electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety and other building systems.
- Manage contractors, vendors and service providers.
- Monitor maintenance costs and ensure expenses are within budget.
- Ensure facilities comply with safety, health and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate facility repair, renovation and improvement projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and address facility-related issues promptly.
- Maintain proper records and prepare reports on facility operations and maintenance.
- Lead and supervise the facility management team.
- Work closely with internal departments to support operational requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency, safety and cost effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Property Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facility or building management.
- Good knowledge of building maintenance, safety and facility operations.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good vendor and contractor management skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Willing to travel to company sites when required.
