Company Description CKS Advisory is a professional services firm specializing in corporate finance advisory and management consultancy for small and medium-sized enterprises. The firm provides both sell-side and buy-side M&A support, helping clients navigate transactions from initial evaluation through execution.

Role Description This full-time Analyst role is an on-site position based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Analyst supports client engagements across M&A, corporate finance, and management consulting projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial and business research, building and maintaining financial models, and preparing valuation analyses and transaction materials. The Analyst will assist in drafting presentations, reports, and proposals, and help synthesize data into clear insights for clients. The role also involves collaborating with senior team members, contributing to due diligence activities, and supporting the preparation of strategic recommendations for SME clients.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in corporate finance concepts and M&A fundamentals, with the ability to interpret financial statements and market information.
• Effective research and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to gather, evaluate, and structure information from multiple sources.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
• Advanced capability with productivity tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software) to support analysis and deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in WP, Kuala Lumpur, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Prior internship or work experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
