A. Routine Outlet Inspection

1. Conduct regular inspection of all retail outlets and office according to the maintenance schedule.

2. Check and install water leakage, damaged fittings, loose fixtures and other maintenance issues. Minor plumbing repairs, such as replacing taps, hoses, washers, flexible pipes and simple fittings.

3. Check and fix electrical switches, sockets, lights and other basic electrical fittings for obvious defects. Replacement of light bulbs, LED tubes and simple lighting components.

4. Check toilets, sinks, taps, drainage and basic plumbing conditions. Clearing minor blockages in sinks and drains.

5. Check the general condition of the shops :- walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, fixtures and fittings. Replacement or repair of switches, handles, hinges, door locks, touch-up paint, minor wall repair and other minor fittings where safe and within competency.

6. Identify potential maintenance or safety problems before they become major issues.

B. Preventive Maintenance

· Follow a monthly preventive maintenance schedule for all outlets.

· Check air-conditioning units, exhaust fans, pumps and other basic equipment condition.

· Check water supply, drainage and plumbing systems.

· Check lighting, electrical fittings and signage.

· Check fire doors, emergency lighting and other basic safety-related facilities

· Keep a record of maintenance carried out and parts replaced.

C. Maintenance Requests

1. Attend to maintenance requests from outlet managers and staff.

2. Respond to urgent maintenance issues as soon as reasonably practicable.

3. Identify the problem and determine whether it can be repaired internally or requires external contractor.

4. May be required to attend to urgent maintenance issues outside the normal routine schedule.

5. May occasionally be required to work before or after normal retail operating hours where maintenance work cannot reasonably be carried out during business hours.

6. Any other tasks are arises from time to time.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
