Job Description

Responsibilities

Objective

The Operations Associate is responsible for supporting project implementation, process improvement initiatives, system enhancement activities, and operational transformation projects within the Operations Division. The role works closely with Operations, Business, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are completed effectively and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will assist in business analysis activities, project coordination, process documentation, testing, reporting, and operational readiness to support successful project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

*Key Responsibilities*

1. Enhancing the current processes in Securities Operations and being involved in initiatives that are beneficial to the overall enhancement of Securities Operations processes.

2. Work with Operations users and stakeholders to understand business needs and operational challenges.

3. Facilitate requirement gathering discussions, workshops, and solution walkthrough sessions.

4. Document business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional requirements.

5. Clarify and validate requirements with business users and stakeholders.

6. Support fit-gap analysis between business requirements and system capabilities.

7. Prepare and maintain BRD, FSD, process flow, test scenarios, and test cases based on approved requirements.

8. Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and test scenarios.

9. Coordinate UAT activities and track defect resolution and retesting activities.

10. Assist in assessing business impact and scope of change requests.

11. Assist in SOP review and process updates.

12. Participate in go-live preparation activities.

13. Provide post-implementation support and issue tracking.

14. Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, and management updates.

15. Maintain project documentation, trackers, repositories, and governance records.

16. Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for management decision-making.

17. Follow up on project action items and issues.

18. Support special projects, investigations, and strategic initiatives assigned by Management.

19. Perform ad hoc tasks as required to assist team in Securities Operations.

*Requirement*

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

- 1-3 years of experience in Operations, Project Coordination, Business Analysis, Banking, Brokerage Operations, or Financial Services.

- Exposure to system implementation, process improvement, or project management activities is an added advantage.

- Strong knowledge of project management principles, business process analysis and requirement gathering with solid understanding of applicable regulatory guidelines.

- Experience engaging with regulators, auditors, and external advisors would be an added advantage

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
