Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Facilities Engineer role based in Johor Bahru. The Facilities Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily facilities operations, including monitoring building systems, utilities, and production-related infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable performance. The role includes planning and executing preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and utility issues to minimize downtime. The Facilities Engineer collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors on facility upgrades, equipment installation, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Typical activities involve maintaining documentation, supporting audits, optimizing energy and resource usage, and contributing to continuous improvement of facility performance.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Facilities Engineering, with experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Facilities Operations and Facility Management (FM) to oversee building systems, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to facilities and equipment.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Effective communication, coordination, and vendor management skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
