Job SummaryWe are looking for a passionate and organized Barista Supervisor to lead our beverage program and front-of-house service at Aida Cafe. In this role, you will oversee daily coffee operations, manage beverage inventory, and ensure our student and faculty customers receive fast, friendly, and high-quality service. If you love coffee culture and want a leadership role with stable daytime hours, no night shifts, and free weekends, we want you on our team!

Your Responsibilities

• Service Leadership: Lead the daily operations of the espresso bar and counter service, delegating tasks to junior staff to ensure fast service during peak campus hours.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards for all espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, ensuring correct espresso extraction and milk texturing.
• Inventory & Ordering: Track coffee beans, milk, syrups, and packaging supplies; manage stock rotation and coordinate with the kitchen team for ordering.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the espresso machine, grinders, and other brewing equipment are calibrated, cleaned, and maintained daily.
• Customer Experience: Maintain a clean, welcoming cafe environment, handle customer inquiries professionally, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a senior, lead, or supervisory role.
• Health Compliance: Must possess a valid Typhoid vaccination certificate.
• Skills: Strong latte art and espresso calibration skills. Basic understanding of inventory management and cash handling.
• Pace: Ability to multi-task calmly and lead a team efficiently during heavy university lunch and morning rushes.
• Attitude: A vibrant, reliable team leader with excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
