About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Production Planning & Engineering Officer. In this hands-on role, you will be need to oversee part delivery schedules, manage inventory receiving records, supervise store operations, and maintain strict compliance with quality, safety, and IATF 16949 standards.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Delivery Control

• Develop, monitor, and optimize part delivery planning to company branches and suppliers.
• Control and supervise transportation and delivery activities to branches, suppliers, and die makers.
• Prepare and issue Delivery Instructions (DI) to suppliers upon Purchase Requisition (PR) approval.

Receiving & Inventory Record Management

• Conduct detailed reviews of daily receiving part records from suppliers/vendors by verifying Purchase Order (PO) numbers, quantities, part names, and Delivery Orders (DO).
• Accurately record and update daily receiving details for raw materials and child parts in the Focus ERP system.
• Record and issue Goods Return Notes (GRN) for rejected parts sent back to suppliers.
• Weekly submission of all issued Goods Return Notes to the Account and Purchasing Departments.

Departmental Supervision & Operations

• Supervise store section subordinates to ensure compliance with company directions, targets, and high service quality.
• Monitor and enforce 5S practices and workplace safety measures across all store team members.
• Review, verify, and approve overtime and leave application forms for subordinates.

Quality Management & Continuous Improvement

• Strictly comply with and apply all operational methods and regulations outlined in IATF 16949.
• Proactively initiate corrective actions to prevent non-conformities related to products, processes, and the overall Quality Management System.
• Assist the PPC Executive in APQP Team activities, PPAP, PQCM, Continuous Improvement (KAIZEN), and Small Group Activities (SGA).

Reporting & Management Support

• Track, monitor, and achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by management.
• Prepare comprehensive operational reports for weekly meetings.
• Execute additional tasks, directions, or special instructions assigned by Management.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

• Delivery On-Time In-Full (OTIF): Adherence to schedule for branches and suppliers.
• Data Accuracy: Zero discrepancy in Focus system entries versus physical inventory.
• Compliance: Zero major non-conformities during IATF 16949 and 5S safety audits.
• Administrative Timeliness: Weekly GRN submission to Accounts/Purchasing on schedule.

Who are we looking for?

• Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC), Warehouse/Store Operations, or Supply Chain Management (preferably within automotive manufacturing).
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to follow technical procedures accurately.
