Job Description

Responsibilities

Company Description MNA DESIGN is a boutique Design studio working across both residential and commercial projects. The practice treats architecture and interior design as one continuous discipline, integrating spatial planning, structure, and materials from concept through delivery. This holistic approach allows the team to create cohesive environments where form, function, and aesthetics are developed together rather than as separate layers. Team members collaborate closely on every project phase, offering the opportunity to work on diverse design challenges and grow a well-rounded skill set.

Role Description This is a full-time role for a Junior Interior Designer and Technical Designer. The role involves supporting the design team with concept development, space planning, and preparation of mood boards and presentations. Daily tasks include producing technical drawings and documentation, refining design details, and coordinating materials, finishes, and fixtures. The Junior Interior Designer and Technical Designer will assist in translating design concepts into accurate plans and 3D representations, collaborating with senior designers and consultants. The role also includes maintaining project files, ensuring documentation is consistent and up to date, and contributing to design research and sourcing.

Qualifications

  • Strong interior design fundamentals, including space planning, material selection, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Technical design skills with proficiency in CAD or BIM software and ability to produce clear drawings and documentation.
  • Experience with 3D visualization tools, presentation layouts, and visual storytelling for design concepts.
  • Solid research, organization, and time-management abilities to support multiple projects concurrently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
  • Understanding of residential and commercial project workflows; prior studio or internship experience is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently with guidance from senior team members.
