Key Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and food safety requirements

• Monitor and maintain quality control processes throughout production

• Handle non-conformance reports (NCR) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Conduct root cause analysis for quality-related issues and implement improvement measures

• Liaise with production teams, suppliers, and customers on quality matters

• Maintain QA documentation, records, reports, and traceability systems

• Support internal and external audits (e.g. HACCP, Halal, customer audits, regulatory inspections)

• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

• Participate in new product development (R&D) and continuous product improvement projects

• Assist in monitoring environmental compliance and workplace hygiene standards

• Provide support for staff training related to food safety and quality procedures when required
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Food Technology, or related field

• 2–5 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in the F&B manufacturing industry

• Familiar with HACCP, Halal requirements, and food hygiene & safety standards

• Knowledge of GMP and food safety management systems is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation

• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
