Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Marinsmart Global Service Pte Ltd seeks a motivated Sales & Ops Coordinator to manage customer enquiries, coordinate manpower deployment with technical teams, and handle port and shipyard formalities for vessel boarding.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and document customer orders with accuracy to ensure clear order details
  • Monitor order execution progress to meet customer timelines and requirements
  • Coordinate manpower deployment efficiently with the technical team to support operations
  • Communicate and collaborate with Engineering Technical Services, Warehousing & Logistics to facilitate on-site engineering work and ensure timely production, service delivery, and spare parts shipment
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the company to relay needs and feedback promptly
  • Respond to customer inquiries on order status, shipping schedules, and related issues
  • Manage customer complaints by mobilizing internal resources to resolve issues and improve satisfaction
  • Organize, file, and securely store all order-related documents to maintain data integrity
  • Accurately enter order information into company systems ensuring precision and completeness
  • Track payment recovery for orders to ensure timely receipt of funds
  • Conduct regular financial reconciliations with customers to maintain clear and accurate records

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the marine industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills demonstrated through effective task prioritization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
