Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

·      3 - 6 years combined education and experience as a technologist in all radiographic modalities (Computed tomography, General Radiography, Ultrasonography, and dental radiography). For Junior level, 1 year experience needed, we are welcoming freshgraduate as well.

·      Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with multiple interruptions.

·      Must be able to multi-task in a busy work environment.

·      Excellent communication skills when dealing with clients.

·      Ability to work well independently and within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

·      Excellent organizational skills.

·      Typing and computer skills in Microsoft Office and Windows.

·      Must be a registered Radiographer under Malaysian government.

·     Personnel performing these studies must have certification in diagnostic radiology (bachelor in medical imaging).

·      Ability to carry out the job duties of this position and perform examinations to the standards set out by the Director.


Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic imaging (X-rays, Dental X-rays, CT scans, Ultrasound, ECG/BP) while delivering compassionate care and protecting patient confidentiality.

Radiation Safety & Compliance: Enforce radiation safety protocols, local rules, and protective guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.

Patient & Workflow Coordination: Coordinate with front desk staff and veterinarians to register patients, prepare them for imaging, and maintain accurate electronic database records.

Equipment & Suite Maintenance: Safely operate equipment, ensure daily cleanliness of the radiology suite, and manage inventory levels for radiologic supplies.

Supervision & Training (Senior Level): Oversee team activities, assist management with reviewing/updating imaging protocols, and train junior staff and trainees on procedures and equipment.

Professional Development: Stay updated on current imaging techniques, participate in in-service training, and support the veterinary care team.
