Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain thick client applications and APIs using C# and WPF.

• Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).

• Prepare, execute, and review test plans, test cases, and test reports.

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), Operational Site Acceptance Testing (OSAT), and production deployment activities.

• Configure and prepare project laptops and workstations for testing and production environments.

• Troubleshoot software, database, and system integration issues.

• Prepare technical documentation and authority sign-off documentation.

• Develop and enhance VSS client functionalities, including:

  • Customized Alarm Manager

  • Authorization and management of Live View Preset Views

• Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and onsite personnel to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical systems.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in C# .NET development.

• Strong proficiency in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for thick client application development.

• Experience in API development and integration.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in software testing methodologies and test documentation.

• Familiarity with system deployment, application configuration, and production support.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of video streaming protocols.

• Experience with Milestone Video Management System (VMS).

• Knowledge of video surveillance, security, or command-and-control systems.

• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, OSAT, or site deployment activities.

Current Project Deliverables

• Setup and configuration of project laptops and workstations.

• Support SIT and production environment preparation.

• Prepare OSAT documentation for authority sign-off.

Upcoming Deliverables

• Conduct OSAT for VSS Client.

• Deliver VSS Client Phase 2 enhancements:

  • Customized Alarm Manager.

  • Authorization of Live View Preset Views.
