Key Responsibilities

• NetApp Administration: Administer NetApp ONTAP clusters, nodes, SVMs, and aggregates. Manage volume provisioning (NFS/CIFS) and implement data protection using Snap Mirror and Snap Vault.

• Dell EMC Management: Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, and mapping/masking on platforms such as PMAX, SRDF & DR activity.

• Pure Storage Operations: Manage FlashArray and Flash Blade environments using GUI, CLI, and the Pure1 portal for predictive analytics and capacity expansions.

• SAN Switching (Brocade):Configure and troubleshoot Brocade SAN switches. Perform fabric monitoring, zoning (creation/modification), and resolve connectivity orport-related failures.

• Capacity & Performance: Monitor storage utilization trends and perform capacity planning to accommodate business growth. Use tools like Active IQ, Unisphere, and Pure1 for performance tuning.

• Incident & Change Management: Provide L2/L3 support for storage incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and execute firmware upgrades or OS patching following ITIL processes.

• Act as the final tier oftechnical support (L3) to resolve critical, high-impact storage outages andperformance degradations.

• Perform deep Root CauseAnalysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with vendor TAC(NetApp, Dell, Pure) for hardware replacements and critical bug escalations.

• Develop and maintainoperational runbooks, disaster recovery plans, and SOPs.

• Create scripts (Python/Ansible)to automate repetitive provisioning, reporting, and maintenance tasks.
