Lead Engineer – BSS / CPQ
Experience: 6–10 years
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Telecom experience is mandatory.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Lead Engineer with strong experience in BSS, CPQ, Product Catalogue, and Order Management. The role involves technical solution design, hands-on development, system integration, and leading the implementation of scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop end-to-end solutions across BSS, CRM, CPQ, Product Catalogue, and Order Management.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs.
Lead development of microservices, REST APIs, and integration components.
Work on product configuration, pricing, order management, and fulfilment workflows.
Design and implement scalable and reusable application components.
Work with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Develop solutions using Java / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
Work with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka or MQ.
Follow coding standards, design patterns, security, performance, and scalability best practices.
Prepare technical and API documentation.
Collaborate with architects, developers, business teams, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills
6–10 years of experience in enterprise application development.
Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.
Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and system integration.
Experience with CPQ, Product Catalogue, Order Management, or BSS/OSS platforms.
Good SQL and relational database experience.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Good knowledge of Git and software development practices.
Strong understanding of application design, coding standards, and design patterns.

Preferred Skills
Experience with zSmart BSS / zSmart CPQ or similar BSS/CPQ platforms.
Knowledge of TM Forum standards.
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
Experience with AI-based pricing or recommendation solutions.
Computer Science or related degree.
