We're a B2B industrial and electrical distributor supplying MNC clients across semiconductor, oil & gas and F&B. Small team which means you'll see how a whole business actually runs, not one slice of one department.

What you'll do

Goods receiving and checking, tagging items to end users, packing and dispatch, document prep and filing, coordinating shipments, and helping with sourcing when there's time. Real operational work on live orders.

What you'll actually get out of it

• See a full transaction end to end: enquiry, sourcing, quotation, shipment, delivery
• Understand why customers pay a distributor a margin on parts they could theoretically buy direct: availability, lead time, credit, risk
• Your own capstone: you'll document our operating procedures. It's a real deliverable with your name on it, and a far better interview story than "office admin."
• A specific written reference from the person you worked with daily

The deal

• 2.5 days per week, fixed days you choose with us
• 6-month commitment
• Exam weeks off, guaranteed: 0 hours during exams and reading week, no questions, slot held
• Completion bonus on finishing the 6 months
• On-site only. The value here is what you overhear: negotiations, shipments going wrong in real time.

Who fits

Methodical, writes clearly, comfortable saying "this doesn't look right" instead of guessing. Business, accountancy, IS or engineering students. If you've run a resell side hustle or worked a job that wasn't glamorous, that counts for more than your GPA.

Reasonable commute matters: you'll be here every week for six months.
