Physical Security Technology Support Specialist – Singapore. Salary: SGD 85,000 - SGD 90,000 per year. Full-time | Customer office-based | Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00. You need to be based in Singapore with the right to work. You will need to be fluent in English.

We are recruiting an experienced electronic security systems administrator to join a centralised managed services team supporting a major data centre client with more than 30 sites across APAC. This is a technical, customer-facing role supporting a large-scale physical security technology environment. You should have a strong background with a security systems integrator, with hands-on experience in access control, video surveillance (CCTV/VMS), systems programming, application engineering and security-related network troubleshooting.

This is not a security guarding position or a general IT support/networking role; you must have the right to work in the EU and must currently be based in the Dublin area.

The Person

• 3–5+ years’ relevant experience in electronic security systems, ideally gained with a security systems integrator commissioning, programming and troubleshooting security systems
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise access control and video surveillance/VMS
• Proven systems programming, configuration, commissioning and application engineering capability
• Good understanding of IP networks and networking specifically as they relate to physical security systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills – able to investigate and resolve problems rather than simply escalate them
• Experience dealing directly with customers and taking ownership of technical issues through to resolution
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Professional, personable and confident representing a managed service to a major international client
• Able to support, coach and share technical knowledge with junior analysts
• Data centre experience preferred, but not essential
• AMAG and/or Lenel experience advantageous
• Must currently live in and be based in Singapore

The Role

You’ll provide technical support and application engineering for enterprise physical security systems protecting a data centre estate of 30 sites across APAC.

You’ll troubleshoot access control, video surveillance and integrated security systems; investigate application, server, network and device-related problems; manage technical work orders; and work directly with customers, vendors and security integrators to drive issues through to resolution.

You’ll also provide technical guidance to junior analysts and help maintain a consistently high standard of service.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing position. We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical capability and problem-solving skills with maturity, professionalism and excellent communication.

Career Progression

This role offers a fast-track opportunity to progress to Support Specialist II within 12 months, subject to performance and demonstrated competency.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to move beyond a traditional security systems engineering role and develop within a large-scale managed services environment.
