What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience developing low-latency C++ applications
- Trading or financial systems experience is preferred
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong C++11/14, STL, Boost & template metaprogramming
- Strong data structures, algorithms and computational complexity knowledge
- Experience with threading, I/O, signals & shared memory
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP & socket programming
- Experience with distributed systems or exchange connectivity
- Familiarity with FIX; ITCH, OUCH or PITCH is an advantage
- Experience with Redis
- Understanding of event-driven architectures
- Experience with multithreading, lock-free programming & performance tuning
- Exposure to Golang and/or Rust is an advantage
- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability

- Develop high-performance C++ trading applications
- Optimise systems for speed, latency & reliability
- Build components for real-time and event-driven processing
- Work with distributed systems & exchange connectivity
- Develop clean, reusable and testable code
- Implement automated and unit testing
- Debug and resolve complex production issues
- Review code and improve engineering practices
- Support live production trading systems
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design
- Explore performance improvements across concurrency, networking & system resources
You'll work on systems where engineering decisions around memory, networking, concurrency and latency have measurable real-world consequences.
