About the role

This role involves providing training to FA Machining Specialist and Machining Specialist, studying new blueprints during contract review stages, and defining suitable process flows to fabricate parts in compliance with specifications. You will prepare and design tooling, jig & fixture, and CNC programs for FA and production modes, ensuring all parts are produced to blueprint specification and that CNC programs are well controlled and maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Provide training to FA Machining Specialist and Machining Specialist
• Study new blueprints during contract review stage on RFQ with sales personnel to determine suitable process, jig & fixture, and special form tools required
• Provide technical inquiry (TQ) to sales personnel as needed based on blueprint
• Define suitable process flow to fabricate parts in compliance with blueprint
• Prepare and design tooling, jig & fixture for FA and production mode
• Prepare CNC programs for FA parts
• Ensure FA parts are produced to blueprint specification
• Ensure CNC programs are well controlled and maintained
• Prepare tooling list for FA parts and work instructions (WI) with pictorial guidance for FA and production
• Define schedule of each process and confirm Gantt chart schedule

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum SPM or Vocational Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
• Minimum 10 years experience in CNC machine processes (Milling/Turning)
• Knowledge in jig & fixture designing
• Knowledge in CNC programming
• Knowledge in QMS, problem solving, SPC, PFMEA, and project management
• Process validation experience
