Nose Hiring! Full Time Finance Manager in Selangor - Ricebowl

Role Purpose

To lead the finance team for our retail business, by managing month-end, year-end closing, basic accounting, and account consolidation for Malaysia and Oversea.

Scope of Work

·      Handle month-end and year-end closing, in full set account

·      Prepare and review basic accounting entries

·      Manage general ledger, journals, accruals, and reconciliations

·      Perform account consolidation for Malaysia and oversea entities

·      Review intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies

·      Support management reporting and financial analysis

·      Assist with payroll-related work, including SQL payroll or willingness to learn

·      Coordinate with internal teams and external parties on accounting matters

·      Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

·      Handle tax compliance, tax filings, and coordination with tax agents or auditors

·      Support ad hoc finance tasks as needed in a small business environment

Requirements

·      Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

·      Assistant Manager / Manager level experience in finance or accounting

·      Experience in account consolidation

·      Familiar with Malaysia accounting process.

·      Familiar with tax queries, tax compliance, and coordination with tax agents

·      Strong attention to detail and accuracy

·      Able to work independently with team work

·      Able to lead Junior team members

·      Good problem-solving skills and ownership mindset

·      Able to work in a fast-paced, lean retail environment

·      Strong communication skills to support non-finance stakeholders
