CITIC Telecom CPC Hiring! Full Time Operation Engineer (On-shift duty, Datacentre Operation, 1-year Contract) in New Territories, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

The Challenge We Pose to You:

• Oversee daily operations and monitoring at our datacentres in Kwai Chung and Ap Lei Chau.

• Conduct routine monitoring and analysis of the customer’s DataHOUSE environment.

• Deliver second-tier advice and troubleshooting support to customers.

• Assist with both pre-sales and post-sales support.

• Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

What You Bring to Us:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in an ISP, Telco, or ICT company. Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Operation Engineer.

• Familiarity with data center operations, cabling, and facilities management.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP services, including DNS, Mail, and LDAP protocols.

• Strong analytical skills, good interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure.

• Strong understanding of data center accessories, such as server racks and PDUs.

• Professional qualifications in the data center field are a plus.

• Proficiency in Mandarin and English is advantageous.

• Willingness to work shift duties to support 24/7 operations, shift allowance will be provided.

• Work locations are in Ap Lei Chau and Kwai Chung, with transportation allowance included. Near South Horizons and Kwai Fong MTR station.
