Job Summary

Responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging material at competitive costs while maintaining quality, supplier performance, and compliance with company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement plans for raw materials, packaging materials and other business requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
• Manage the complete purchasing cycle, including purchase requisitions, quotation comparison, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and invoice coordination.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, pricing, responsiveness, and compliance with agreed requirements.
• Monitor inventory and purchasing requirements to prevent material shortages, excess stock, and disruption to operations.
• Conduct market research, identify alternative suppliers, and drive cost-saving and procurement improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, approved budgets, internal controls, and applicable regulations.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills; able to work independently and across multiple departments.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
