Job Description

Responsibilities

Scope:

Lead operational support for enterprise network services, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. Drive incident response, problem management, change execution, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement across a global environment.

Responsibilities:

· Lead 24x7 enterprise network operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across campus, WAN, LAN, data center, and cloud network environments.

· Manage and oversee Data Center Network Operations supporting business-critical and mission-critical applications with minimal service disruption.

· Provide technical support for incident, problem, and change management processes, including handling major incidents, escalations, and critical outages.

· Drive root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance network stability and operational efficiency.

· Assess risks, business impact, and implementation plans for major infrastructure changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.

· Lead network transformation projects, including infrastructure modernization, migrations, technology refreshes, and platform upgrades.

· Develop, review, and maintain network standards, operational procedures, runbooks, and architecture documentation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver network solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

· Drive proactive monitoring, capacity planning, performance optimization, and network health assessments to prevent service degradation.

· Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational best practices across the network infrastructure landscape.

· Support design reviews, solution validation, and implementation planning for new technologies, cloud connectivity, and hybrid network architectures.


Key Technical Skills:

· Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, Data Center, Cloud, and Hybrid Network environments.

· In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, carrier WAN services, MPLS, and Internet connectivity.

· Extensive experience with Cisco switching technologies including STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLANs, VPC, EtherChannel, Cisco Catalyst/ Nexus platforms, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Access Points (APs).

· Good understanding of network security technologies including Check Point Firewalls, F5 LTM/GTM, Infoblox DDI, and related security controls.

· Cisco CCNP certification required; CCIE certification preferred
