Management Trainee (Trading, Rubber)

Our client, a leading global player in natural rubber trading and processing, is seeking a Management Trainee to join their Rubber desk in Singapore. This role offers broad exposure to the end-to-end trading value chain, from trade execution and supply chain coordination to risk monitoring and commercial performance tracking, with the opportunity to grow into a trading career over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Support trade execution on the SICOM rubber futures desk, including trade booking, reconciliation, and tracking
• Conduct supply and demand analysis alongside the Rubber analyst team
• Develop dashboards, KPI scorecards, and governance reports to support trading decisions
• Track Asia Trading P&L and perform variance analysis
• Coordinate cross-functionally with logistics, finance, risk, and supply chain teams
• Support digitalization and process automation initiatives across the trading value chain

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in commodity trading, trading analytics, supply chain, or related analytical roles; fresh MBA graduates also considered
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with a detail-oriented, analytical approach to work
• Native or business-fluent Mandarin, required for the role's China-facing operations
• Background in commodities, trading, or supply chain preferred; MBA or relevant quantitative background is an advantage, not a requirement
